Crews clean up after plumbing problems close some Smoky Hill High School bathrooms
Crews were working Monday evening to make sure all the bathrooms at Smoky Hill High School in Aurora were open and ready for use after plumbing problems closed about four of the bathrooms The bathrooms and a provision area had to be closed off and cleaned up Cherry Creek School District spokeswoman Lauren Snell noted in an email District facility operations environmental services custodial and plumbing staff responded speedily and resolved the plumbing issue We are as of now working to clean the entire impacted area to be back to regular operations Snell disclosed Majority of of the school s bathrooms remained open during the school day Snell reported students didn t have access to any of the areas where there was sewage Crews are working this evening to get all bathrooms opened for the subsequent day s school day Snell announced Nearly students attend Smoky Hill Get more Colorado news by signing up for our daily Your Morning Dozen email newsletter
